Sr. Security Analyst GDH Consulting is looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst for one of Tulsa's premiere employers. The Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst will monitor the environment for vulnerabilities, provide operational insight on cyber threats, and maintain security systems. Activities include: Performing security monitoring, security and data logs analysis, and network and forensic analysis, to detect security incidents, and initiate mitigating actions according to Standard Operating Procedures. The Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst will investigate intrusion attempts and perform in-depth analysis of exploits. Reviewing security events that are populated in a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to identify suspicious, malicious, and anomalous activities. Analyze a variety of network and host-based security appliance logs (Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS, Sys Logs, etc.) to determine the correct remediation actions and escalation paths for each incident. The Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst will be responsible for producing reports on all intrusion activities, security incidents, and other threat indications and warning information to help maintain day to day status, develop and report on trends, and provide focus and situational awareness on all issues. Qualified applicants for the Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst will have: A Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or 4-year college degree in a technology related field Qualified candidates for the Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst role will have security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or Security+ Experience working with firewalls (Cisco ASA/Palo Alto), proxies, wireless, VPNs, enterprise security monitoring solutions (such as QRadar SIEM) and network access policy management tool such as Cisco ISE. Security Configuration knowledge, solid understanding of networking, good understanding of different operating systems (Windows & Linux) and also virtual architectures. Diverse device configuration knowledge. Qualified candidates for the Sr. Cyber Security Operations Analyst role will have at least 4 years of experience in the information security field. Expert-level knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, IPS/IDS, endpoint protection technologies and other forensic tools.
